Commercial Litigation Associate — Portland

About the role

An Am Law 100 firm is seeking a mid-level to rising senior associate for its commercial litigation practice in Portland. The department represents local, national and international clients in complex matters before state and federal courts, at trial and on appeal. The role • Broad, hands-on litigation work: case strategy and fact development, drafting pleadings and motions, discovery, argument preparation, hearings and trials. • A collegial, nationally recognised practice with a strong platform for growth. What we are looking for • Five to seven years of litigation experience at a law firm, or a mix of firm experience and a clerkship. • Excellent writing and strong academic credentials. • Experience managing e-discovery and motions. • Admission in Oregon, or the ability to waive in promptly. Washington admission (or the ability to waive in) is strongly preferred.
