Real Estate Finance Associate

About the role

An Am Law 100 firm is seeking a real estate finance associate for a growing practice that acts for lenders, borrowers and investors on a wide range of commercial real estate transactions. The role is open across several of the firm's US offices. The role • Structure, negotiate and document secured real estate loans, including acquisition, development, construction and refinancing facilities. • Handle related due diligence and loan workouts. • Work closely with senior attorneys and clients on cross-office transactions, with significant client contact and responsibility. What we are looking for • Solid experience in real estate finance, secured lending or commercial real estate transactions. • Strong drafting, negotiation and analytical skills. • The ability to manage several matters and collaborate across offices. • Excellent academic credentials and communication skills. • Admission to the relevant state bar.
